Back to School Readiness
Back to school readiness? I'm in no way ready for back to school. I have thoroughly enjoyed my summer. Family vacations, camp outs, and BBQ swim parties. I have enjoyed my leisurely mornings sipping coffee by the pool and listening to the sounds of nature. It has been a great summer to practice "just BEING in the moment". I hope to take this feeling of peace and contentment with me into the start of a new school year.

How to plant your dreams

Are you planting weeds? Are you planting flowering or fruiting trees?
Spring is a great time to plant in the garden. Spring is also a fabulous time to plant your future.
If you don't plant a seed it will not grow and the same is true for dreams and goals. You also get the "fruits" of exactly what you plant....be it weed, flower, or dream
Here is a great way to have fun planting your garden and your dreams at the same time.
1. Dig your hole in the ground
2. You may want to add some special nutrition for the little sprout.
3. Now take the little seed or plant in your hands.
4. Think of an idea/dream that you would like to manifest.
5. With love or a prayer imagine your outcome for this dream exactly as it will be.
6. As your plant grows hold the vision that your dream is blooming as well.
Happy Spring!

Mustang Magic

A client of mine recently shared how she manifested exactly the car she wanted. It turns out one of my tales of fun had inspired her.
We were in the air somewhere over the U.S. on our way to New York. My husband Pete says "lets manifest something". Okay what shall we manifest? and quick as I said that I had an intuitive vision of ice cream. So naturally I suggested ice cream (plus now I really wanted a hot fudge sundae).
Pete disagreed thinking that was too easy, and saying lets make it more fun.
We came to the decision that we would manifest a red Mustang convertible.
When we arrived at the auto rent desk we asked if they had a Mustang we might rent. she said "No I'm sorry but we rarely get Mustangs here and never convertible (the weather and all). However...
As we are getting ready to sign the papers for our rental an employee comes up behind her and puts keys down on a car just turned in.
Mustang...Red...and yes Convertible! What fun.
I have to add that as we arrived at our families home there was a Swanson's Ice Cream truck parked out front. As we walked in our family said they were just waiting for us to arrive and meet everyone else at Friendly's. Friendly's is the local ice cream haven in New York Mills. My intuition came about as well, I got my hot fudge sundae!

Velveeta Visions
My dear friend just lost her beloved step mother... the woman who raised her... the woman who changed her life.I am at the grocery store picking up supplies to make dinner for her and her family. I have an overwhelming desire for a Velveeta grilled cheese sandwich and tomatoe soup. Food from my childhood but totally not on my current healthy eating repertoire. It ends up being such a project to find Velveeta cheese (its not the 50's any more Betty Jane).
Here is the kicker... I came home with dinner supplies yes, but her kids were at my house and I began preparing the crave lunch of grilled cheese. My neighbor walks in to check on the kiddos and I offer her lunch too. This is a woman who exists on coffee and vegitables and here I am offering a fake cheese sandwich.
We all deal with death differently but I really didn't expect grilled cheese to bring on the flood of feelings.
It turns out that the first time she met her step mom, her step mom made her a Velveeta Grilled cheese sandwich and tomatoe soup. The first such sandwich she had ever eaten. The first time she met her step mom was huge but this new kind of sandwich was pretty exciting too. It all brought about a trip thru memories and feelings she had all but forgotten. Tears between women can cleanse and set us right like a fresh shower.
I am thankful that I followed my intuition to seek out the Velveeta, and to offer my friend an unorthodox grilled cheese.
Who knew the real Healing Power of fake cheese.
